Hehe, so... I came home from school yesterday, knowing I had a crapload of homework. I slept from around 3:30PM to 5:30PM. Got up, ate, worked on homework till 2AM, on which i took a break, popped a Centrum, a complex B vitamin, and a St. John's Wort. Then I brewed some mint tea. I went to sleep at 3AM, having to get up at 6AM.
Now, I had not expected to have a very good dream recall. I did not LD, but I was damn close to it and the dreams were DEEP. In other words, no way of wakin up by accident (some of the more experianced LDers know what that is like). Very interesting, that half of the time I was asking myself, "Is this a dream?". It never registered, but got damn close, as I had almost full awareness (one point I felt like I was dying before I slid into another level.) I think there were like 4-5 levels to it, which makes it hard to recall because at that point the realism became so much that when I slipped out of a "dream" and into another level, I would accept it as reality.
I do not know.. but It appears that sleeping those 2 hours got the delta sleep outta me, then going to sleep over 9 hours later just mainly did REM sleep. I woke up completley refreshed and not feeling my usually drowsy morning self (which also leads me to believe there was no delta, and I only hit rem, cause when i took the nap when i came home.. i was outta it).
It could have also been the St. John's Wort and the Mint Tea (i just started puttin the two together the past 2 days because it makes me feel more aware during the day). The B6 in the two mulivitamins I am sure helped contribute (it was only like 20mg combined, but still that can make a difference).
