As soon as I started having sex the pleasure was unbelievable... I closed my eyes five seconds into it. |

Usually in my dreams, when I close my eyes then open them, I'm still in the dream. Maybe, if you do accidentally close your eyes, believe/expect that when you open them again you'll still be in you dream. Another possibility, is that you could try to see through your closed eyes, or try to stabilize your dream by rubbing your hands or something like that. Your problem might just be that when you close your eyes you subconsciously expect that this will cause you to wake up in the real world. Well, I hope that helped a little bit even though I'm not that experienced in LDing yet. |

Lucid dreaming makes for a wonderful night's play.
It did help. I had forgotten this, but I do think it may be a subconscious thought that closing my eyes would make me wake up. Actually, I may have thought that consciously once or twice. |

I often close my (dream) eyes to more easily envision stuff I want to be around a corner or in my pocket. Just belive you will still be in your dreams when you open your eyes. |

On LD hiatus. Probably will start again around new years.
Or, you know -- randomly throughout this year and next.
If all else fails... don't close your eyes. It's a dream, there's no need to. The pleasure made you close your eyes. All you had to do was get rid of those pesky eyelids |

Although there is some good advice on this thread, there are a few other things that you could try. (Just so you know, I used to have this exact same problem.) |

Paul is Dead
I'm suprised no one brought this up. You could use the closing eyes thing to your advantage. For instance, if your dream is starting to fade anyway, close your eyes to wake up, all the while telling yourself to stay still when you do. tell yourself to not even open your eyes in your real body. Once your awake, and you haven't moved, play back your previous dream until you reach SP and eventually drift back into a dream. Hopefully, you would have just performed a DEILD, which is basically a mini WILD. You can do this even if you close your eyes accidentally during the dream and wake up, just as long as you make yourself stay still when you wake up into your real body. This way you can save your lucid dream. |
