      Well, different people will recommend different ratios, but IMO it's better to find your own through experimentation and then try to prolong every phase once you get better at it.

      Listening to other peoples breathing rythm when they sleep and copy it, or pretend to be sleeping like an actor in a movie works for me to get the breathing right.

      It's breathing into the lower part of the lungs by using your diaphragm. Most people use only chest breathing.
      It's hard to explain how to do it, but it should be easy to detect if you're doing it correctly.

      You can see the difference between the two if you lie down and try to do a very deep breath. Your belly should expand if iyou're doing it correctly. If only your chest expands your breathing is not deep enough.
      It's hard to explain it in writing, but you should try filling the bottom part of the lungs first and then fill the upper part.
      You will also see the difference in the volume of air you are able to inhale, it's larger if you start with filling the lower part of the lungs.

      I think that the key is to first get a nice calming breathing rythm (through stomic, diagraphm-thingy which is used with metal screams too that's why I got so much control over it ) and then just forget about your breathing once you got it down .

      Dude, i tried this and it worked perfectly. I didnt actually WILD cause it was a nap and i just couldnt get there, but I no longer have to worry about breathing. THANKS!!

      My problem is that when I am getting close to Sp, I accidentally take a double breath. I am breathing and then I kind of gasp for air unconciously. Takes me back 10 minutes, which is annoying.
