      What was this..WILD?

I'm not sure exactly what this was..maybe an accidental WILD or something.
I was taking a nap and when I woke up I was paralyzed and there was this loud buzzing/screaming noise. I made my self move and then tried to make it happen again and probably two or three times in a row I made myself go paralyzed two or three times, but the noises kept making me get up. At the time I had no idea what was going on, but now I really wish I would have concentrated more and maybe entered a Lucid dream.
Was this WILD induced, or was it just a weird thing that happened to me?

...You were experiencing sleep paralysis, and the hypnagogic hallucinations that come with it.

It would have been a WILD if you had entered the dream. Try again tonight if you feel comfortable, it seems like you're able to enter SP very quickly. WILD should be a good technique for you.

Yeah i'm planning on trying again, i just have to get over the being scared of the noises factor. Sometimes when it happens I hear loud screaming noises, so I'm afraid that I wont be able to get past them.

This use to scare me too, and honestly the only thing you can really do is ignore it/accept it. For some people their thoughts strongly affect the hallucinations they get during the transition, so I suggest thinking positively.

What I would do when I first began to WILD was keep my attempts in the day time during naps. I felt safe knowing it was bright and sunny outside. Even though my eyes would be closed and I couldn't see the light, just knowing that it was day time comforted me.
