Ask yourself this, Do you useually have tiny bugs crawling over your chin ? :D
It is a sensation that is part of the process :)
You don't necessarily have to be fully into SP to have weird sensations like what you felt. Maybe you were almost into it or something? Who knows.
This is an unusual description of "the vibrations", I think, which are a symptom of being near SP. It also sounds like you just just had an itchy chin, though.
Yeah I feel that too, but sometimes I feel like I'm falling.
I get that too! Isn't it fun? It's like being on a drop tower, except without restraints!
I get weird itches, pins and needles, and little pains. If I've just lied down to WILD, I will scratch and rub them away. If I know I am close to succeeding, I will force myself to ignore them. Sometimes it helps to focus on the feeling so intensely it loses all meaning. Really make yourself feel it fully, immersing yourself in the feeling.
i get random itches. and it gets more and more irasistable, until suddenly it turns into a warm fuzzy feeling.
as if all the tension was suddenly discharged. i then will feel nothing for about 5 mins and the exact same itch will come back, but it will 'discharge' slightly quicker than last time.
one thing i have realised is that itches and pains, are simply a message to our conciousness to do somthing (react).
but when our body realises we clearly are not going to do anything about it, stops sending the messages.
like with the itch, my body realised clearly i am not going to scratch it, so it stops sending the message.
if anyone here does cross country running, you will know of that feeling of breaking the pain barrier.
after running for about 30 mins, my body forgoes a lot of stress and exaustion, and i get the message to stop and rest (the message is in the form of pain).
but if i keep running, determined, my body realises that im not going to stop for anything, and stops sending the pain signals:
and it is the most wonderfull feeling in the world, the feeling of absolute control, control over the body.
we are constantly limited by our body, but that moment of complete freedom, is just amazing.
and if lucid dreaming is anything near that, im going for it.
sorry i went of on a rant :)
