      it seems to me that your problem is lack of recall. you may have actually had a lucid but you cant remember it and it seems like it never happened
      you dream multiple times every single night whether you remember them or not

      this is why developing good dream recall is KEY to lucid dreaming

      there can be people who are very good at lucid dreaming but dont even remember, and every lucid seems to be their first because they dont remember the others and after they wake up they forget completely, and the process repeats itself. kinda like that crappy movie 50 first dates with adam sandler

      oh trust me i have a dream journal and i remember 1-2 dreams every night so i have good enough recall to remember them
