      Tips for eager new LDer?

Right. I have had one LD. That was from waking up half way through a REM and going back to sleep whilst counting. It was pretty cool. I was in my room...did other stuff...the usuall LD...

But what are some tips for inducing them when I want to? I like to WILD, but havn't managed to go straight into an LD in the first sleep cycle. I don't think I am meant to.

What is a good time to wake up in a sleep to begin a WILD?

if i'm going to attempt a WILD i get up 4 and a half hours after I go to sleep.
the trick is not falling asleep again and remembering that you want to WILD.

      Ah. Makes sense. Thanks guys!

My big problem is that I just end up falling asleep. I have never tried a MILD before, I just might.

      Cheers

Try laying in a position you don't normally sleep in. I find it easier to get lucid dreams like this either from WILDing or Wake back to bed. Normally i don't sleep on my back i find it uncomfortable so i lay on my back to lucid dream if i plan too.
