so are you saying that i should day dream while staying aware at the same time, like a semi day dream, because i find that very hard.
i can switch from day dream to being aware of body, back and forth. isnt the concept of a day dream to forget about the body and just imagine.
maybe the term daydream has different meaning to different people.
could you give an example of your day dream when your going to sleep. eg daydream while counting at the same time.
it could be that im not tired enough, maybe i should spend more time 'prepairing' for sleep

You want to maybe even not try to day dream unless you can stay aware. If you day dream then you can/will goto sleep.
Normaly when i try to get my body to fall asleep, i sometimes do drift off and start "Day Dreaming"
I find that this is a great way to get to SP quicker, but its so much harder to not fall asleep heh.
As i start to day dream, i will get really into the day dream, its not to clear, But it feels like im starting to forget about my body sort of say.
However what normaly wakes me up from my day dreaming, is a sudden "Sound" or "image" appearing in my head which wakes me from the day dream. I make sure to stay aware however and not let go completely, even when i'm day dreaming. The day dreaming also i find helps you forget about your body making you want to scratch your self all over, that's always fun lol
Its really funny when your laying there and starting to forget about your body, and all the sudden you gotta scratch yourself. It to me feels like most of my body is almost not there, but theres this one itch, which seems like the most important part of my body at the time.
Okay i think im talking too much now.... These are all just my personal experiences also btw. Don't read too much into them
