      Sick of wilds

I have never Lucid dreamt before and I have been trying to wild for like forever. What excercises can I do in order to guarantee a mild or dild

Well there is no way to guarantee anything, but a good way to have a wild is to try after some rest. Like get about 4-5 hours of sleep, then attempt. Also try taking B6 vitamins they help.

that must have helped him a lot since he said he cant be bothered doing a wild, he asked for help on dild or mild. although what you said apply to any technique any way so it doesnt really matter.

dont just pick a technique and go for that one forever, you need to try many of them until you find your perfect one.

Well, you sure do have enthusiasm! I personally hate WILDs. Try MILDs, they work so much better for me. RCs and visualizations are the way to go.

I did not know you could enter a lucid dream through visualization? How exactly can you do this

Can a simple glance at your hands during the day be a form of RC?

I would do even more then just looking at your hands. Your hands can look normal in dreams. Try sticking one of your fingers through your hands.

As for visualizations. What I do is, when i go to sleep (which will be in about 5 seconds, lol) I will go over the dreams I had last night. Then I will imagine myself Lucid in them, picturing what I should have caught that would have made me lucid. It makes me more aware in the dream I'll have tonight.

Um..Barb just told you..visualize your dreams from the night before and then try to pick out dream signs, that makes you more prepared for dreaming that night.

That should be fine. The point of RCs is to question your reality every so often, so it doesn't really matter which RC(s) you do.

Don't get discouraged. Lucid Dreaming takes time and patience. It will come; just keep trying.

Patience is a virtue so they say. I just hope you've got the patience to continue with it. It just seems to me that you really want it sooo much that even that might be the reason why it's not working for you just yet.

I was in the same situation back in Sept, I read up loads about the topics and techiniques on here and started a dream journal etc but nothing seemed to work, although my dream recall increased greatly. I then forgot about it for the next 3 months and then right out of the blue I had my first LD by pure accident.

If you discount my first one because of luck, then I'm essentially at the same place you are right now. And so I'm just working on dream recall, RC's during the day and focusing on a DEILD technique as I seem to be able to wake up naturally now after my dreams end.
To focus on a WILD too much too early might be the wrong way to go, although I've heard that it's virtually like the Holy Grail of techniques to have great LD's.
I personally don't have the time to try WILD's and even if I did, If i found the other tech's to be working then I wouldn't even go down that road.
