I'm really interested in this as well.
Obviously theres no actual talking, so it has to be your inner-thoughts conveying themselves in a unique form. Sort of, listening to yourself think, to the hundredth power.
Exactly! I just want to know what other people's voices say to them. Just a thought, but, maybe it is some form of Multiple Personality? Lol
I believe it is when you are somewhat asleep and somewhat awake, and whenever you listen to your thoughts they just sound really random and not something you would normally ever be able to think of. I could be wrong though, I'm just saying that's what I think it is.
They don't always happen. Mine tell me ideas for modding :). SP is good for something.
Mine sound like thay are comeing from inside my head, to the outside..
After SP hits me, it hears like I am waering ear plugs.. Like my mind is not listing to anything outside, but only inside. anyone like this ?
When you're in SP you experience hallucinations. These can be visual or auditory. WILDing obviously leads to SP so it's normal to hear things that aren't there.
I hear a faint screeching noise, like a constant scraping of metal. Over that I hear a loud humming noise that's going in and out like "WOM-ah WOM-ah WOM-ah WOM-ah".
There was one occasion however where in my left ear I heard a woman screaming. Then there was another where I heard lots of laughing and when I opened my eyes, I was lucid in a party at school.
When I enter SP it's very sudden. It feels like I've been put in a tight sleeping bag and my ears feel plugged like I was thrown into a pool. It all happens within a second too.
I'm really intrigued by SP, and the whispering.
I'm also curious; is it readily apparent that you've fallen into SP, or do you have to be constantly aware of it? Like, do I have to keep counting off in my head (what I do to achieve SP) or do these things just happen?
It's very apparent. If you've never experienced it, you could be very frightened the first time because your first reaction may not be, "Wow I'm in SP!", it will probably be more like, "WTF IS HAPPENING?"
But yeah, it's very apparent. Once you're in SP though and aren't frightened anymore, you just have to ride it out into a dream. Stay still, calm yourself, visualize, go with the hallucinations. It's a lot of fun once you get used to it.
With my experiences, here's what generally happens:
I may slip in and out of consciousness just slightly. I start to calm myself and focus on the blackness behind my eyelids. I feel like I'm moving forward very quickly. The sensations are hard to describe but it starts to feel like I'm not laying in bed. I then feel like I'm floating and not in my body. I'm only in my mind. Then very, very suddenly, that loud humming noise is everywhere. It feels like it's playing in my head, not around me. I feel constricted and pinned to my bed. My whole body feels very tingly like it had fallen asleep and was now waking up. Sometimes it feels like there's a small earthquake happening.
Overall it feels like I've been wrapped up in a tight sleeping bag and thrown into a pool in only one second.
I often hear voices towards the end of my WILD. I've heard everything from private conversations to commercials, to TV shows and radio broadcasts. It is very strange, because I know it is not real, but it is extrememly convincing.
I remember, one time, hearing what sounded like my girlfriend out in the living room watching old episodes of Roseanne. Weird, because we don't have a TV.
Last week, I heard an AM talk-radio show about US/Mexico Border politics.
Its not like I ever watch Roseanne or talk about border control politics. Who knows where this stuff comes from.
I dont know if I truely experiance SP before..
Anytime I fell like I cant move, I can move if I want to.. is this normal?
Only once did I hear something that sounded like whispers, and I couldn't tell what they were saying. Once I heard a woman scream in my living room which jolted me awake. Usually though I just hear some one talking to me (my mom or brother or a friend).
What happens with me is, after a while of laying there, my vision starts shaking and my eyes rapidly move, then I here a like a hhhhhhhhh sound, a very cold, deadly, ghastly whisper really close to my ear, it's scary, but definetely worth it.
This is really creepy. But, very interesting. Do you think that this will keep people from wilding?
Well, I would assume so! Although, I like to use the MFG technique rather than wild. Much easier. But that's off topic.
Then if I'm lucky, SP will continue strongly and the auditory hallucinations will get louder and more apparent (I don't get many visual hallucinations so it can be hard to enter a dream). This will eventually propel me into a dream of some sort. I can tell when this happens because I start to feel extra limbs. I'll fell my dream legs moving or my dream arm reaching for something. I wait a few more seconds until I can't feel my physical body, and then I open my eyes and I'm in a dream.
I have never WILDed (well just DILDed once anyway..) and learnt about it this week. But thinking now I think I had gotten close before without knowing what it is. Sometimes right before I fell asleep I catch myself thinking/hear things. It's not my inner voice it's usually random people having conversations on weird topics in my mind or someone explaining something. Only thing voices have in common is how confident they are. I'll try WILDing everytime I go to sleep till I get it. SP sounds wicked. I've never experienced something paranormal yet I have always wanted to.
I had one of these whispering things as I was trying to fall asleep last night. It said something like "Hey There" In some sort of gravely voice.
