Is three hours of sleep enough for an LD?

I had an account here previously and used to get about 2 LDs a month or so...but do to some life and school stuff I sorta fell out of routine...

So, now due to those factors, I only sleep about 6 and a 1/2 hours a night, but I reaaally want to start LDing again. And I know that a certain amount of sleep is required to have a decent shot at WILDing, or even DILDs, sooo...

Would 3 or 4.5 hours of sleep, then doing a WBTB be enough to induce a Lucid? Or maybe trying a WILD?

Just to clarify, I don't mean is that enough to have a Lucid Dream WITHIN that time, but as a pre-requisite? I've read that the first few hours are deep sleep with little dreaming... So, is three hours and then waking up, enough to get into that time where REM is more active?

It can happen. It's not commonly believed to be 'ideal', but it is very, very possible Your recall and how tired you are probably play some of the biggest roles, but yea... I've LDed many a time on that little sleep.

I actually just remember a time the other day where my first dream was a lucid.

I know since I woke up right after andd I knew how much time had past.
