This morning I woke up, had some coffee, slapped on a nicotine patch and went back to bed... I had several dreams bordering on lucidity before waking up. I eventually realized they were false awakening, and managed to become fully lucid. I got up off the couch and opened one eye into dreamland... I couldn't open the other eye though. It felt like when you have conjunctivitis and wake up with your eye stuck shut. When I woke up, I realized that the eye that was stuck shut actually have my arm laying across it, stretched up over my head and across my left eye; this must have carried over into my dream and kept that eye closed...

does anyone know a way around this?

Also, I experienced another strange phenomenon that I get sometimes when I become lucid from a FA: when I stand up (or sometimes only after I pick something up) I lose balance and tumble to the ground, and wake up in the process or trying to get to my feet and balanced.

Any suggestions for overcoming either obstacle?
