Waking up your brain for WILD

I´ve had this problem for the past 10 times of trying to WILD. I dont´t get my mind clear before WILD, without waking myself up fully (not being sleepy). What I mean is, I don´t understand what I´m doing and so on, without waking myself up. I think that this is cuz the logic centre of the brain or something has not woken up. So How to get my mind clear when WILDing, but not to wake myself up too much?

Sleep 7 hours then WILD. When you feel like this you haven't slept enough. IMJ

But if I´m not sleepy enough, I can´t get to sleep at all. So I´m not asking how to wake up moderately clear, but what I mean is, I wanna be both clear and sleepy. A warm shower?
