next time really expect to be in a dream! in real life.. |
|
Before I went to bed last night, I tried really hard to make it a habit to question my reality often, by looking at the clock, looking away, looking again, watching my hands, pinching my nose, etc, to induce one... in fact I was so one-track minded and desperate about it that I did RCs almost every other minute. I really hoped that it would succeed somehow when I fell asleep. |

Yeah i know what you mean, just try to remember that the last thing that you did before dreaming is that you fell asleep. In your dream try to look for something that isn't supposed to be there. Try to do a gravity rc, it might just work for example, jump up and down, you never know you might be able to fly. I did the same thing that you did, yesterday i did some rcs in real life and i almost became lucid in my dream last night. The only thing that stopped me from becoming lucid was a dc, because of the way the dc acted towards me. Otherwise i would have became lucid. |
|
You can't force it that way and doing a lot of RCs for one evening is not enough anyway. Doing it frequently for a few weeks is the far more successful option. |
|
If you don't expect the reality check to work, then it won't. That's how it is for me anyways. You have to truly believe in it. |

Lucid Dream Count: 17
I had this same problem once. What you have to do is to not let the RC's become like a robotic repetitive motion. Whenever you RC you have to really ask yourself if you are dreaming, if not you will RC in a dream and not notice that it succeeded. |

Well I forgot how I was going to phrase what I was going to say. But it went something like, RC's are meant to give you reasons to question your reality, this transfers to dreams in that. While in a dream you may decide to do a RC, and it may check out causing you to go lucid. |

What if I make my RC spinning around a few times? From what I've read, I don't think it's possible to spin around a few times in a dream and still be in the same place. Maybe that could work... |
|
Spinning should not be used as a RC if anything it should be used for teleporting or dream stabilization. And yes it is possible to spin and be in the same place this is what it was most commonly used for at first was for dream stabilization. It was then found it could also be used for dream scene change. Take your pick. |
