Need guinea pigs for new tech. BILD?

As it turns out, this method is credited to Malac (coencidently) as he created it about oh i don't know... a freaking year ago! Lol but if you all are still interested, it also turns out that this method is really easy to do and may be effective to the MFG technique. Read on.

      ----------------------------------

I have been using this site for a while and am interested in the whole lucid dream thing. After browsing through some of these posts, a new idea struck me.

When we go out of our way and take a minute to breathe in and out, we may feel more relaxed. After doing it for a period of time (not for too long) we tend to become very lightheaded.

I'm thinking this may work better after a few hours of sleep. Say you go to sleep at 11:00, set your alarm for 4:00 and wake up at that time. Get up go to the bathroom, get a drink (not too much caffiene), whatever just to make sure you're not too tired or too awake to try this once you go back to bed.

Before sleeping, lay just completely relaxed and keep movement to a minimum (not like WILD. go ahead and itch) Just make sure you're really comfortable and your mind is at ease. Then take in deep breaths in and out. Slowly.

Keep doing this for a while and try to do the whole reminder thing just what ever it is that you try to remind yourself of what you are doing. (Sleeping, dreaming, what the fuck ever). Count sheep, count dreams, count the flying cows just yeah you get the idea. This may help bring in an induction.

What I think would be a good addition is if you tried Malacs Fast Grab (MFG) technique following this phase if accomplished.

I haven't tested it yet which is why I'm asking for people to give it a try. This may sound dumb or really lame, or it may already be out there somewhere. Or already tested. Please notify me if this brings to your attention of a repeat. I don't want to be accused of stealing an idea.

Anyway, I'll provide a brief summary of the possible technique:

      1. Set your alarm clock to wake you up early in the morning. (I'd give it about 4-5 hours of sleep after your start time)

      2. After awaken, get up for about a minute to wake yourself up a little bit. Then go back to bed.

      3. Being completely relaxed, breathe in and breathe out, slowly for a long time. (Not really long)

      4. While breathing, do the counting stuff.

      5. The rest is yours.

Again, for the testers, good luck and report anything that happens, even if nothing at all happens. Every information is important to help me consider the technique. You can even provide ideas to help improve technique. I will try the technique tonight for myself. I haven't had a LD in a while so maybe this, will help.

If the technique is a success, it should be called the BILD (Breathing Induction Lucid Dream) unless there already is a BILD. If so, let me know.
