one tricky way to go better into lucid

Hi all, my first post, I am very new here, but here's the trick:

I found this by an accident, I was very tired and fell into bed with my daily working clothes. I was not even under the blanket. And then I immediately fell a sleep. But I was disturbed about clothes. So I was like little bit awake. Then I realized that I was dreaming and I understood that I was dreaming. And I even thought: "I should take my clothes off and then I could return to this dream" :shock:
Then I realized I was dreaming, and I got exited about this trigger. Lucid state didn't last long. I woke up, wrote down my experience, and undressed and went to sleep because I needed to go work very early.

So, I tried it again later next day. On purpose I went to bed with clothes. And yes, same trigger again. Lucid time didn't last long. I guessed that sleeping with clothes was too disturbing. I experienced with different loads of clothing. But it was interesting.

Try to experiment with this and let me know how You did.

I had this happen to me on a campout! I was wearing coveralls!

Sounds like WILD, the clothes you are wearing are an anchor. This can be effective because wearing day clothes while sleeping is so strange and different that your human bodies are unused to it. So if the urge to fall asleep is strong, unconsciousness will occur, but your "conscious" mind still is trying to figure out what's wrong.

I don't like "tricky" things. "Tricky" mostly stands for things that are not really understood. What you describe here may work for very few people. I guess you can be glad you found something working for yourself and with a bit of luck someone else might find it useful too. Doesn't work for me though.

leonhardrhine, interesting idea.. I can see how this would work as you would no doubt be sleeping less deeply because you're not dressed as you normally would be for bed.
