hi chris, maybe i can help a bit =D

      Hey!
Well, i'm no expert, not by a long shot(never successfully WILDed, but i felt really close)

One thing ive heard about WILD on dreamviews is that it takes a long time.
It seems like you kinda just got excited- treat WILD as if your just going to sleep, but you stay HALF awake, into your dream.

so you shouldnt be in bed getting goosebumps and waiting to be plopped into a dream. Just relax and visualise what you want to dream, tell yourself that you will know full well when your dreaming, and that you will stay conscious until you start dreaming.

BTW, i'm pretty sure you have to wake up in the middle of the night to do WILD, or atleast take a nap in the day, and then attempt. It doesnt go straight from going to bed, sorry =(.

I believe the tingling is the start of SP. The increased heartbeat is most likely because you are getting excited thinking you are starting to wild. the same thing happens to me.

I have trouble too. I am calm, but can't get immersed in HI (or even enter SP). However, I think that SP is in fact unnecessary to WILD. BillyBob's tutorial explains a good way to do it. Shift got 2 in 1 day instead of the previous 1 in 5 months.
