That is an idea I've considered myself. I keep trying to make my resolve to do an RC whenever I see friends. But this seems more general and hopefully would be more successful. I will give it a try.

sounds a little intense for me, i guess i see people in every dream, but it's not the people that make dreams unique, its usually the odd world or acts of the people, so i try and do RC's when something weird happens. let me know how this turns out though, if it's effective, i'll give it a shot...

Well, I've been trying for this many days:

      Half-heartedly/casually: 2-3

      Intensely: 1

I have not had a DILD yet, since school and all of the distracting things that come with it (homework, studying, tests) have distracted me quite a bit, and frankly my grades are a higher priority than RCs, but I will try very hard in the next few days.

School may actually be an advantage to this technique, because I see tons of people every day at school.

      Gotta keep goin'

Yea I think the main problems with this are those dreams where there aren't any other people, and then the fact that if you have to RC that many times you have to remain very very precise and attentive when you do them, otherwise it'll just become a habit and you'll go through BS RCs whenever you come across people.

I usually do at least 3 different RCs when I do RCs, and if I am looking at text or time, I look at least 3 different time. So that's 5 RCs every time I feel cued. I don't think I could manage 5 RCs every time I see a person lol

It's not just RCs; it's RCs in combination with asking the question "am I dreaming" that results in more DILDs.

For me, a really good one is checking the sky for strange shit. In my dreams, the sky is always doing something, like an eclipse, or a large galaxy is there, or a meteor, etc.

Well if you are doing RCs and NOT asking yourself if you are dreaming, you are doing your RCs ALL wrong.

Which is why I'm always stressing the fact that when you do a RC, you need to just pause, clear your thoughts, and prove to yourself why you are in reality and why you are not in a dream. Because you shouldn't just passively ask yourself if you are dreaming, you need to consciously and rationally determine why you are or aren't.

yeah RC's can't really be an unconcious act or they will be so dreaming. you have too question your reality and actually focus on wether or not you're dreaming, and sometimes you are, suprisingly. so thats dank.

I do ask myself if I'm dreaming and forgive me if I forgot to state that (which I did ).
