All I can say is: "No it's not."

Constantly having those types of dreams is one of the main reasons I got into dream journaling. I figured it a waste to have such amazing experiences, and forget them upon waking. Whether or not I'm tired the following day usually has to do with other factors, not just that I had an epic dream the night before. Depending on the vividness and intensity of the dream, though, it can take a lot out of me, but I can never say it gets old or that I don't like it. 90% of the time I wake up feeling just fine.

I understand. But you surely know the feeling, when you are having dreams about fighting and chasing most of the time. It really doesnt matter how much control do you have, this kind of experiences are pretty discouraging. Having to fight within dreams doesnt sound to be relaxing.

Especially your dreams are full with such kind of stories. Didnt you ever had the feeling that you actually dont want to remember them, becouse you dont feel good the morning after? What gives you the strength to recall them every day now and what gave you strength to recall them at the beginning of you lucid journey? Was it different?

You seem to have dreams that are similar to mine. I've just began retraining my brain for dream recall and it's going great. Last night I had a dream that was similar to the ones I used to have. It was like a movie big time and yeah, you do feel tired when you wake up. And mine wasn't even lucid!

Are you a writer, professional or otherwise? I'm an avid writer, recreationally. I think that's having and affect on my dreams.
