Lesson learned...
Get your lazy ass OUT of bed when you do a WBTB.
I tried this morning...I didn't get out of bed because I felt real tired...my WILD attempt ended in falling asleep...four times.
So, when you do a WBTB, make sure you get out of bed and not just wake up. I do have a question though: how long should I stay up for a good WILD to happen?

mini0991, I have to force myself to physically get out of bed as well! It just doesn't work unless I actually get out of bed and STAND UP! :P
I find that staying up just long enough to go to the bathroom can be long enough.

Oh yeah, I have to get actually get up before I even attempt to WILD. I have fallen asleep way too many times when I wake up, and decide to WILD, but not physically get out of bed.
I either go use the bathroom, or grab a quick drink of water. I usually don't get up for more than five minutes.

Even newer lesson: Do something after you get out of bed.
I got up to go to the bathroom and still fell asleep this morning. I'm gong to try to stay up for about ten minutes browsing Dreamviews or something.

I don't even bother with WILD's. I'm just not patient enough to lay there for 30-90 minutes. Hopefully I will have luck with FILD/VILD (yes, I know those are WILD techniques).

I set multiple alarms to ensure I get out of bed. That backfired the other day, when I turned the first alarm off, flopped into a DEILD, and had the second alarm sound only a couple minutes later! :facepalm:
