      The feeling of disorientation (WILD)

Just a quick question. I've just joined the LD community and these last couple of times ive tried to have a WILD i find that I'm at a roadblock. I've only tried 4 times however.

3 of those 4 resulted in massive vibrations and as I visualized myself getting up and going out my front door my mind becomes disoriented and it feels as though it goes in downward spiral. Could this be me losing consciousness or what? (I figure the disorientation may also be a sign of detachment). Im stuck at this point, I feel im really close to completing a WILD but I keep getting stuck here. Any advice/tips?

The vibrations were probably a good sign. You just need to relax and if you get so into it then you'll probably enter a lucid dream. I've had the exact same feeling but eventually i hit the bottom and i entered a curvy red tunnel and then it got really white at a moment then just like fog it faded away fast and I entered the dream. Just keep with it

Man, it sounds like you're really close. Try to connect yourself to your visualization by touching things and looking around your for details. You need to forget about your body lying back in bed, and convince yourself your dream body is solid and real.

Yeah, try to relax and breath through it. The hardest part WILDing is staying conscious through the whole thing. If you make it that far while conscious then all you gotta do is breath, reamain still and try to visualize yourself somewhere while staying conscious.

I used to hate SP, but now I just love that feeling of transitioning into the dream state and those vibrations that come along w/ it!

I love the vibrations also, but I dont really think I'm in full SP. When I end up getting up my body feels "waxy" but I have no trouble moving anything if I intended too. Ill keep trying.

Staying conscious is no problem for me. I find it hard to go to sleep, period, let alone with all the vibrations and anticipation of trying a WILD
