I would suggest sleeping on your back only, elevate your legs 30degrees, increase temperature in room to 60-70 Fahrenheit (15-25 Celsius), avoid using a pillow, and consider aspic oil as a numbing medium if sensory is excessive.
White noise generators may help as an alternative use earplugs in case high frequency sounds in the environment (which you might not notice) are inhibiting the process. Attempt to stare 'through' your closed eyelids, and concentrate on maintaining continuity of awareness.
