My first WILD. Have any tips?

OK a couple weeks ago i had my first WILD after it was almost time to get up but i fell back asleep partly conscious, as i started down this twisting, turning red tunnel, with round dots on it. Eventually, the final turn came around (that lasted a couple seconds) and I was shot into the cockpit of a machine. I dreamt I had little clue how to pilot it and things kept hitting the thing left and right but within a couple of seconds it ended. I couldn't believe how realistic the cockpit was with all the controls, lights, etc. Any tips that I should use to maintain sleep?

I suggest doing your next WILD a bit earlier, when you'll have more time to sleep (and when your body will still want more sleep).

I also suggest staying calm when you find the dream materializing around you. Wait a while. Look around and notice how detailed things are. Once the dream feels stable feel free to do whatever. If you find yourself in the dream and you are moving (like in the dream you described) just go with it. But try to stay calm and observant for the first little bit.

      Good luck!
