You kind of can't be in SP all night. When you are dreaming, you have SP. When you are not, there is no SP (except for a minute before the start of the dream). Because sleep paralysis is an accessory of the dream state, and the dream state alternates with the NREM state throughout the night, unless you had some serious hormone problem or REM rebound, you probably can't stay in SP all night.
If you are talking about fake SP, where one sits still and conscious without letting the body properly fall asleep, then yes, a willful person could stay in that state all night. But would they want to? Fake SP does not form a dream unless you are lucky. Fake SP, for me, leaves me disappointed and tired in the morning, as if I hadn't gotten a proper sleep (because I didn't!).
