I don't really have much of a plan, but to lay there and try to stay awake until I fall asleep. I figure it can't be that hard because I didn't sleep at all last night. |

Heck yes. You should get some good REM rebound tonight. Expect some crazy long dreams. If you are seriously tired, try sleeping with a low light on. Or sleep sideways or backwards on your bed. |

I never have a plan for when I'm lucid. I was thinking of either going along with the dream, but shooting fireballs at random objects when no one is looking for my own amusement, or becoming a winged buffalo, and crashing a buffalo wing eating competition to see the DC's reactions when they realize buffalo wings do indeed come from winged buffalo and I'm the last of the species. But I've never tried changing form in a lucid dream, so I'm leaning towards the first one. |

OK, so even after not sleeping at all for a night, I still couldn't pass up beer pong. I got blasted and passed out on my friend's couch, the only dream I remember is of eating all the cereal in one giant bowl. I got a good 6 hours of drunken sleep, so I'm still exhausted, hopefully this means I'll have a really easy time passing out tonight |

My plan didn't really work at all. I think drinking and smoking threw off my chances at success. Also, I've been having little to no recall for a few days since then. |

I've been awake since noon on Saturday, so I'm quite exhausted at the moment. Once 6:00 rolls around and the birds start chirping, I usually don't bother trying to sleep through it. We have a lot of really loud birds around my house so it can be frustrating. |

Have you read around in the Alternative Sleep Patterns section? There is a lot of discussion of sleep deprivation. |

The Uberman sleep schedule looks awesome, but there's no way I'd be able to strictly follow it. While reading about it, I've decided to try the Everyman sleep schedule. |

For me, weed doesn't affect my recall. I can smoke myself into oblivion and still remember 2 - 3 dreams. I think it's all in your head. I think the main problem for my recall was that I'd wake up on my friend's couch, and not even think to bother remembering my dreams. As soon as I wake up, I remember all of them, but if I don't do anything about it, they quickly fade away. |
