'Exhausted' attempt at a W.I.L.D.
I don't really have much of a plan, but to lay there and try to stay awake until I fall asleep. I figure it can't be that hard because I didn't sleep at all last night.
Honestly, I've been tired enough to fall asleep since 10:00 this morning, but that was after I decided to eat breakfast at 7:00 and start doing shit for the day so I never really had a chance for a nap. Also, if I did take a nap, I don't think I'd wake up until 4 in the morning.
Has anyone tried to WILD after an all-nighter? If so (or if not) any suggestions?
I find being very tired similar to being drunk
I never have a plan for when I'm lucid. I was thinking of either going along with the dream, but shooting fireballs at random objects when no one is looking for my own amusement, or becoming a winged buffalo, and crashing a buffalo wing eating competition to see the DC's reactions when they realize buffalo wings do indeed come from winged buffalo and I'm the last of the species. But I've never tried changing form in a lucid dream, so I'm leaning towards the first one.
...Or, I could continue along the dream, as a winged buffalo that shoots fireballs, that'd be sick.
Yet another attempt at a W.I.L.D.
I've been awake since noon on Saturday, so I'm quite exhausted at the moment. Once 6:00 rolls around and the birds start chirping, I usually don't bother trying to sleep through it. We have a lot of really loud birds around my house so it can be frustrating.
Okay, so this time, I plan on trying to go to sleep around 10:00 pm so that'll be around 34 hours of being awake. That should be enough to speed up the falling asleep process. I have yet to pull off a successful W.I.L.D., so I'm not exactly sure how to do it. But what better time to give it a shot? The fun part about sleep deprivation are the mild exhaustion induced hallucinations.
I tried to read a book a few hours ago, but I couldn't make it through more than 10 pages. After a few minutes of sitting still, I started to fall asleep while reading and had to re-read the same sentence 6 times before I actually comprehended what I read. Reading is so hard for me when I'm tired. I wonder if certain parts of the brain don't function as well when deprived of sleep compared to other parts.
I don't know if it'll actually work, but I'm setting my alarm for 3:00 a.m. for another W.I.L.D. attempt as a backup plan, or in case of success, for double the fun!
