why Midnight?

Based only on what I have read, The ability to 'WILD' should be the most persistant during early morning after either just waking up or more commonly associated with some form of 'WBTB'; or during an afternoon/late morning nap.

Yes, I agree with Conundrum the best time to WILD is after waking for a short time and then going back to bed. However, be sure not to wake "too much", what I usually do is go to the bathroom and get a drink of water. However, I make sure to keep the lights off the entire time as I am easily aroused to a waking state. It is hard to describe how to WILD, have you done any experiments with dreaming or near dreaming consciousness?
I WILD after 7-9 hours of sleep, in the morning.
i am the lone person who does it when first going to sleep, at about 1 am.... =p
the only reason it works for me is because i have insomnia, and one week i was like getting no sleep, and one day i read about lucid dreaming because i remembered when i was little i went through sleep paralysis (i didnt know what it was) a lot, and i had a lot of lucids, on a day to day basis. i tried to WILD as an attempt to just force myself asleep. i got into SP real easy, and heard noises and my heart started beating way way way way too fast, and i didnt know that that happened, so i woke myself out of it and went to sleep. the second night, i got even further. after i heard stuff, i felt my body fall through my bed and it felt like i was doing backflips down and down. but it felt AWESOME. haha then i felt the immense sense like i was about to hit the ground because it felt like my speed was increasing, and i was afraid i'd hit the dream ground and it would hurt like a bitch, cuz i feel pain in most of my dreams. i woke up when i shoulda successfully WILDed. =[ but the 3rd time i finally got it, minus the falling through the bed part. i just felt like it was 100 feet in front of me, and i was rushing towards the dream scene... the dream was kinda short though... haha
OH. so since the first few times i got lucky from my sleep deprivation, my body has been able to WILD right as i go to bed....
