Hi, just wanted to share something. |

Grats! Sounds like fun |

Float
Yeh I think it's the movement thing that helps. Never had a succesful WILD myself |
i guess the fact it was kinda WBTB helped too.. |
im intrigued, i will try this. |
Cool, i hope it would work for you too, tell me if it does. |
im jealous. lol. how long do you think you were lying down before ur moment of inspiration came?? when i successfully WILD, it seems like 45 minutes before the transitional state, and i can never really tell how long the transition lasts cuz so much weird stuff happens to me... lol that seemed really simple and effortless. =p |
You just imagine yourself running? In nothing? Do you view yourself from third or first person perspective? |
i believe it was no longer than 5 minutes. i was really tired and felt like i`m beginning to fall asleep and then decided to try it (without the relaxing thing or the "not moving a muscle thing"..just got comfortable and started to imagine) |
Ah, this is pretty much the WILD technique I use. |

So lets join our common knowledge. |

Interesting that you didn't focus on relaxation and not moving. I have a theory. |
12 LDs at least (most short), all DILD I believe.
i think that the moral of this story(thread) is to make sure you're relaxed and motionless, but instead of focusing on your RL body (like focusing on keeping it still and stuff) think about your dream body. make sense? =p |
Last night I somewhat gave up on trying to WILD, I've never been able to WILD at night before bed anyways. I usually ahve good luck with that during daytime hours when I'm tired. |
hahaha nice... congratz on the DEILDs... i want to be able to do that more than ever... but it seems like my eyes are open before i even wake up, or i move, and that IS what causes me to wake up.... oh well.. ill do one eventually. i hope. lol |
Just try to WILD if you open your eyes, your body is still almost totally asleep. I think its still possible and easy to get into some kind of lucid dream at this point whether its a WILD, DEILD, or whatever. The point is to become lucid, doesn't matter how you get there, right? |
that sounds a lot liekt he technique my foster aprent taught me where you keep your mind active and forget about your body till you body falls asleep and you enter REM. |

So what do you do before you go to bed to have a WILD? Did you just picture yourself running while you were about to go to sleep? |
yeah..nothing else.. |
