I've had a similar idea in the past. Like for a wake back to bed kinda thing. Tell myself to do a heap of reality checks but dont do them, and then go to sleep. kind of suppressing the desire, until you do them when unconscious.

It could work, maybe?

Only if you get used to the idea, you could be like...."that was a dreamsign, no need to check reality" and just keep going on your merry oblivious dreamy way.
