Weird SP

i think i had gotten a full SP one night when i was trying to relax my body. My arms and legs and the rest of my body tsarted to feel like dead weight and then they felt like floating. i felt a rushing feeling going through my body traveling fro my torso to my feet. I'm pretty sure this was a SP right?

but i have a question. As it passed through my body and went through my midsection it gave me an erection. Is that normal or anything? Maybe a stimuli from the weird sensation SP gave me conciously?

That's most definitely sleep paralysis.

I do know that there is some kind of hormonal balance that changes during sleep, which is why some people wake up with erections. This could be related to that, although your idea sounds reasonable as well. It could be either. :)
