Well in real life I listen to a bunch of music. I use my sansa mp3 player. and last night i had a dream and i had it with me. I tried to listen to my favorite song, and it wouldnt work. So i mean if you listent to music constantly try to use this to your advantage, and try to when you think you might be dreaming.
I also listen to music all the time in waking life, but in my dreams it usually doesn't come up at all.
Yes U are right, my mp3 player got me lucid once and appeared in 2 dreams before having songs I din't have in reality. There were pictures on the display like a TV and I thought to myself...this is just weird and concluded I was dreaming...:).Quote:

What if you picked one piece of music and whenever you hear it you constantly do RCs.
Then program your player to come on with it, not quite loud enough to wake you up, right in the middle of your REM sleep cycles? I wonder if you'd hear it and remember?

what i do is usually play a simple pattern of chords or notes (that make sense) on my guitar when i wake up real early in the morning... i keep doing that until i loose physical sense of what i'm doing and just feel the pattern's rhythm .... when i get back to sleep i happen to attain more conscious control over my dreams (that's not always the case though)..........but never had smthn to do with music in the dream itself.....
I have my iPod in every single dream I have and it plays exactly like it does IRL.
A little food for thought: perhaps while you're listening to music and you go into a dreamstate, the type of music could manipulate the type of dream? A possibility, and probability from what my experiences taught me.

I found this first post very interesting. because in actuality i think in some cases you may be able to get it to work. I have had dreams of myself recording my own personal dreams to a app on my droid. Now, you might be right as far as getting sound from the item. Because I didn't actually play back my recording in the dream. In fact, would guess it would have turned out to be something entirely different.Quote:

It's not very sophisticated - it sense how much movement you're making and says whether you're in light or deep sleep. There are other apps that make a sort of logical guess on your REM patterns.
