I need help falling asleep because it takes me sooo long to fall asleep because all I can think about is falling asleep  Any tips on falling asleep fast?
There's actually been a few topics on this recently.. insomnia is taking over the world, noooo!!!!
Anyway.. exercising a lot during the day, self-hypnosis, melatonin, eating properly.. all those things can help. I'm missing a lot, though, hold on I need to fix my brain. :?
I take care of myself. I eat right, stay in shape, and such. But at nightime I just keep thinking"gotta fall asleep. gotta fall asleep." and I just can't stop!! urg!! its so annoying!!!
Try not thinking that. I know, easier said than done. But that's ultimately what's keeping you up. How about visualization? Or playing very soft music in the background? Or reading until your eyes can't take it anymore and need to close?
My mind just can't stop thinking about falling asleep! I am thinking about something else but in the back of my mind I am thinking"I really need to fall asleep".
Well, I already replied to this elsewhere but:
Try learning self-hypnosis. It's really quite easy to do and it's so relaxing that you'll probably end up falling asleep before you even have a chance to obsess over it.
Check out the reply I made to your other thread.
Scwigglie's right, distract yourself with something so you don't have to think. Music works well.
A 40 oz of Ouzo 12! :D
yeah just run around or do something like lifting weights before you go to bed
also if you cant go to sleep after like 30 minutes get up and go watch tv for a while then try again that always works for me
Watch a soap opera. :? . . .
Tv is always what I am doing before I go to bed. It doesn't really help me fall asleep. Self-hypnosis? :P
