      WILDing problems- sleep trouble

Yeah, you might find my problem very silly, so i'm prepared. Lately, I've been having trouble falling asleep. It would take me a long time; longest time was approx 2.2 hours. After trying to fall asleep, It would be too late to try WILDing, so I would have to turn the alarm clock off, and try falling asleep again. I'm not sure if its a sleep disorder or not, but it started around the time I attempted to try out WILDing. Anyway, I got most of the WILDing technique almost down pat, like ignoring the trials of the itchy leg, or dry throat. I didn't give in to any of that kind of stuff. Last night I drank chamomile and mint tea, which is supposed to be soothing, and for relaxation, I resorted to meditating. Even all of that doesn't help me sleep. Can anyone help me sleep

Whenever I can't fall asleep, I listen to music. Anything repetitive but not too boring works for me. The song can't be really really good though, otherwise I'd stay awake listening to it.
Also, try not to think about sleep. Just relax and fantasize about whatever. If nothing works, you might want to see a doctor.

I used to toss and turn for hours when I went to bed at 11 or 12. I started going to bed an hour later for a week, and another hour later the week after. I finally fell asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Maybe you're going to bed too early or you need to devise a routine sleep schedule.

Reading and tea might help as well.

If trying to WILD is interrupting your needed sleep.. perhaps you should only try to WILD when you can sleep in (i.e., Sat and Sun mornings).
