Question Trouble realizes "dreamy" part of a dream.!?

I am having trouble recognizes the dreamy parts or i guess what you would call dreamsigns while dreaming. This is because my dreams all seem to be typical situations that could happen in real life. There are no odd places, or odd people, or odd objects in them. Becasue of that any chance i have of realizing im dreaming during a reality check is dimished. Any tips, or something im missing?
So pardon me while I burst

My best advice is to keep a dream journal, and look for dreamsigns anyways. You will probably find a similarity even if they are everydayish.

Do reality checks often, as often as you can. Then you will eventually find yourself doing a reality check in a dream.

If your dreams are in regular settings, then you should try to do reality checks regularly in waking life, even when nothing odd has happened. That way, you may end up reality checking whilst in a 'normal setting' dream, thus becoming lucid.
