      Helpful advice needed

Hi my name is corey...I'm new to the whole complete lucidity thing..but i remember when i was younger i used to lucid dream alot but i didnt know it was lucid dreaming..granted i never had complete control of what was going on i would just realize i was dreaming in a nightmare and would try to wake myself up but couldnt and i could never change what was going on, i could only change the setting....i had a DILD last week during an afternoon nap where i realized that my steering wheel was on the right not the left side and i said "hey thats not right im dreaming" and i got really excited and at that moment it felt like i was being squeezed through some tiny pressurized tube and then i was on my couch...i have excellent dream recall i can usual remember about three a night because i wake up after every one but i can never realize im dreaming at night....i used to WILD when i was little after i would wake up and want to dream again, but i've tried that recently and i always get freaked out when my body vibrates and it goes away...any suggestions or help? i'd greatly appreciate it

I can only suggest to keep trying. I think everyone gets freaked out by the vibrations at first. I know I did

You will get used to it and it won't freak you out anymore..

Then you'll move on to being freaked out by sleep paralysis! But don't worry, you'll get used to that too.

A good way to start recognizing that your dreaming, is to incorporate Dreamsigns + Reality Checks into your daily life.

After waking up every night, record your dreams in a Dream Journal. After a week or so, review the Journal. Look for common things that happen in all, or most of your dreams. Those could be dream signs. When you learn to recognize those, then you want to start doing a Reality Check whenever you see them in real life.

For Example, with me, I'm always walking back and forth between my bedroom and my kitchen in my dreams. So, anytime I walk from my bedroom to my kitchen in real life, I check to see if its a dream using the Nose Pinch Reality Check (pinch your nose and try to breath through it).

As for WILDing, when you get to the vibrations and SP, just keep continuing what your doing, and know that nothing is going to happen to you, no matter how much your body tries to convince you otherwise (unless you have a panic attack, but thats rare). The Vibrations and SP should pass relatively quickly after that if you can keep yourself relaxed.

thank you...and a couple of questions also lol...first:
Should i record the dreams as i wake up through the night?
Secondly: what do i do once i get to the vibrations like what comes next, i always get confused or freaked out when that happens like i dont know what to do so i just get startled i guess you could say. Is there anything i need to think about or concentrate on when these vibrations start? sometimes i feel like im falling through the couch or my head will spin but no vibrations..what is that?
