      Lucids drastically improving

ive found out that im a DILD guy, and that it requires more than just luck for me. the reality checks do it just fine with me and i have no trouble remembering them.

i just woke from one of the most beautiful lucids ive ever had. ive always been one for amazing scenery in my dreams cause my mind never ceases to surprise me. (sounds a little 30 year old mom-like but hey...)

so the last dream i had that i missed being lucid, i was in this bathroom at my work that i dindt recognize. a light turned on in the urinal and i almost became lucid but instead woke up. well last night i was in that same bathroom and i thought "this is it. im back here again, i must be dreaming" so i did the nose plug and obviously i could breathe.

ive always wanted to see how exactly the poking your hand to see if it went through worked. so i did that, and it ended up weird. so im in the back ayrd and its night time, so i tried flying. by doing this i looked up to the sky, stood up straight and closed my eyes, i felt myself levitating. first i went up 10 feet, then 20. as i did this the sky brightened and it was daytime.

i started levitating and floating towards things, but it was hard to control. after i would go up in the air while i tried to lean forward, i would always end up kind of floating more backwards. but i got a good enough hang of it, and it was the most amazing thing ive ever felt.

the only other detail ill throw in from the dream is again the bright green grass and bright blue sky. there was this garden and the flowers were like full and thick, where one patch ended the other immediately began. like bright blue flowers then pink ones and man..it was gorgeous

the dream lasted probably 30 minutes

this is coming from a 20 year old guy that smokes pot and plays guitar. i dont usually think about that sorta stuff.

definitely the most clear and longest lucid dream EVER

awesome dream, i'm the same type a guy as you (21 years old, smoke and play guitar/keys) and i know exactly how it feels to be just overwhelmed with scenery in a dream... you can't help it, it's just amazing what the mind can do. flying is definitely my favorite thing i've done in a lucid so far!

      btw, nice sig

LOL!! When it comes to the awesomeness of lucid dreams, we've all sounded a little 30 year old mom-like!

I have this hang-up about closing my eyes for more than a second when I'm lucid .. I'm afraid it will cause the dream to end and I'll wake up.

FFK, sounds like a great dream.. congratulations!

nice, im a 15 year old guitar playing pothead. cept i havent blazed in a while, i'm trying to cut back. all of my dream scenes allways take place in my house, and I never seem to be lucid long enough to go anywhere. i always wake up before i can do anything, like the dream fades away. It would be very nice if could see amazing dream scenery like that.

It is awesome what your mind creates for you. It's like there's another person inside there. Like in my last LD, I was amazed when a DC said something that my conscious self didn't even expect, as though she really were somebody other than just a manifestation of my own mind.

      I'm 29 and I don't smoke anything, but I think it's really cool too.

In dreams of unspeakable joy—of restored friendships; of revived embraces; of love which said it had never died; of faces that had vanished long ago, yet said with smiling lips that they knew nothing of the grave; of pardons implored, and granted with such bursting floods of love, that I was almost glad I had sinned—thus I passed through this wondrous twilight. —George MacDonald
