Wild scary experiences...

Well, me in particular hate wilds.Every time i try to wild i get a sort of in a sleep paralysis state and feel like my head is going to explode.i feel like if am been stabbed(i hate the stab feeling :() and it dosnt stop.The only thing that calmed me down was my laptop since i left it on playing music all night. i heard it i and focused on the music until the wild/paralysis state ended and i woke up..So what has been ur most terrifying wild experienced? and how did u succeed if you did and got a lucid? :boogie:

I rememeber this one time I was trying to WILD - and with me I focus more on sensations rather than visualisations, so feel shifting in my body etc, but this one time I felt like I was falling down, for ages and heard all these horrid voices etc and really did feel like I was falling to hell, not a nice WILD at all - but still became lucid from it :)

cool at least you became lucid so it was worth it lol!!!! :boogie:i heard the horrid voices in mine too but i tryed to replaced them with the music i heard from my laptop!!!!

My most scariest WILD was also the sweetest-in a way.

I start the dream off flaoting in space. I can see stars everywhere. I look around to see what else i can spot, then i see two more astronauts. Their on a shuttle of some sort both reaching out for me. This is when i realize that im a goner, floating to my eventual death in the cold ,black abyss. I try and kill myself by taking off my helmet like that guy does in the movie Mission to Mars.

But it doesn't work out for me, instead my face freezes, im still well alive, but i can no longer move at all, a prisoner in my own body. Then i spin around somehow and see the big ass red planet Mars. I can only watch as i get closer.

When i get close i can feel myslef being pulled in, everytime the speed increased the sound of wind blasting by my ears gets louder, i can feel the wind on my face, it was like i had my head outside of a vehicle window going 140mph, all i could see was orangy-red dust. At this point i woke up becuase of a big body twitch, i was releived and pissed at the same time.

Stuff like this happen if a person has a belief that they are holding onto. ..you might have a belief about that like falling to hell. . .you might have watched a movie where something like that happened and developed a fear of some sorts.

I Was once stuck inside my worst nightmare while WILDing. It was that deep blue ocean that sorrounded me and it was very scary for me!! Then When I woke up in paralysis and felt the old hag in my room!! Scary son of a B*tch!!!:roll:

During my last SP episode I felt a woman holding me down and whispering weird stuff in my ear :shock:. I'm already used to the fear, but it's still very annoying.

Sounds all too familiar to me, except for the stabbing feeling.
I've had countless SP experiences like this, before I ever heard about lucid dreaming (so, I was really thinking I was going to die, if I didn't fight to wake up).

When I read I could enter a lucid dream via SP, I tried hard to withstand the terrifying feelings. It has taken me about 10 successful WILDs before I got mostly rid of them. Here's a link to one of the most extreme experiences.

So, you already know in SP, nothing is PHYSICALLY going to hurt you. All sensations are purely made up by your mind. So basically, it's just a matter of 'sitting it out' and slowly overcoming the nasty sensations. KNOWING it will pass away is the best advice I can give you. Try to RELAX. Good luck!! You can do it!
And some extra pep-talk: being able to achieve this state, is already a good step towards lucidity :)

Wow i think urs might of been scarier than mine.So didi you learn to overcome it!!!

Well i don't think i want to try to wild ever again lol way to much weird stuff for me. I felt like i was going to die no joke:p and like i said the only thing that kept me a little calm was the music!!!!:boogie:

For me its like "Whatever happens happens, if I die...I die"

So I never really get scared, I'd sit there all day

Question...when you WILD do you do any physical relaxation techniques?

Try taking a shower than doing a physical relaxation exercise then try to WILD and calm your mind, if you can get to a trance state you won't really feel any stabbing feelings anymore. I have this same problem and if I remember from a dream DVD they talked about it being the bodies test signal to see if your awake before you go to sleep. (It's a feeling that makes you want to move or turn)
