Thread: Help! Lucid Dream Concern!

I am scared of what my body does when I lucid dream!

This fear stems from last month when I had a LD in which things were getting pretty hot and heavy with a particular DC. I woke up to find myself chewing on my blanket! Saliva everywhere!

I bring this up now because last night I had another LD. I was trying to complete the task of the month, asking a DC what my New Years resolution should be. When I tried to talk, however, it was like I was choking on my tongue. My speech was barely comprehensible. Worse yet, afterwards I felt like I couldn't breathe. I immediately became concerned that in my waking life bed, I was dying for real. My racing heart woke me up.

I am also concerned because I am seeing a girl now and she sleeps by my side very often. What if I have a lucid dream and wake up chewing on her face? That wouldn't fair too well.

I guess essentially what I am asking is does Lucid Dreaming really make ones sleeping body react to what is going on in my head, or is it just the LD playing tricks on me?

thats what happened to me when i was asking for my ny's resolution. But i didnt get scared, i just kept repeating myself very slowly, until they could understand me.

That's what happened to me when I was asking for my new years resolution, but I wasn't scared, I just repeated my words slowly until the dcs understood me.

When you dream your body should be in sleep paralysis (unless you sleep walk).

Which is, in fact, a rare phenomenon. (That does not mean it never happens, or hardly, just not as often as media may make it seem..)
