It seems very possible that the legend of incubus and succubus started from people having the experiences of SP.
In dreams of unspeakable joy—of restored friendships; of revived embraces; of love which said it had never died; of faces that had vanished long ago, yet said with smiling lips that they knew nothing of the grave; of pardons implored, and granted with such bursting floods of love, that I was almost glad I had sinned—thus I passed through this wondrous twilight. —George MacDonald

I read about that stuff. I know for a fact it is bullshit
Because if i see a smoking hot girl in my dream im going to fuck her, and then when she turns into a demon and trys to kill me im going to her face off.

      Then i become lucid.
      I win.

dreams are basically a theatre in the mind that you have control of, next time you try a wild give that theatre a warm up. What i mean by this is imagine something...like flying around the world, you aren't dreaming yet so your mind won't fill in the blanks for you, while your flying, imagine things you see, hear and feel...like for example a plane flies out of a cloud and in slow motion you barrel roll, just avoiding the engine by inches- something random like that.

This helps me warm up the "mind theatre". you will be able to tell your starting to dream when the scenario that u thought up starts acting on its own and creates things that you didn't imagine for example "after passing the plane you nose dive heading for a exploding volcano" you might not of wanted to nose dive, or imagined the volcano. this is a sign that your starting to dream.

Thats a possibility, also, I noticed that whenever I wake up abruptly from a loud noise or an alarm my heart will be pumping harder due to the adrenaline induced by a quick awakening. (its more refreshing to wake up slowly on your own) But I suppose if you really want a WILD then just keep trying.

Hah! That reminds me of a lucid dream I had one time:
I realise I'm dreaming and sit up in my bed. I see at the foot of my bed is a super hot naked girl standing there, beckoning me to come with her. I naturally begin to follow her, but am very suspicious that something sinister is about to happen. Knowing this is a dream, I have no fear. She slowly walks backward (facing me the whole time) toward my door, which is open. I stand directly in front of her, when she stops in the doorway. An evil grin appears on her face and then suddenly, as if her skin was made of a cloth curtain, a demon leaps out from inside her. The creature shrieks as it lunges at me. Instead of being horrified, I'm not surprised with what happens. I say out loud in the dream "pfsh...I knew it!" and then wake up.
