It would help if you tell people what your method is and what you've managed to accomplish so far, SP, HI, vibrations etc.
Hey, I've caught myself in MANY dreams and can keep myself in them usually. but, new to the forums I am.
So can you please tell me some of the abbrviations? SP HI? what are they?
I'll tell you where I get when I try to wild. I've only been sucessful on dild. I have a great technique for falling asleep but, I never actually get the wild to work properly I have to CATCH myself in it. any ideas?
As for wilds. I get to a stage when i get a faint image of something like a scene or someone talking but, as SOOn as I remind myself I'm going to lucid I'm up. I don't even have a chance to start the body spin or rubbing hands...
I know of a good one - Program your inner self.
SP- Sleep paralysis, when your body locks up when going to sleep. The key is of course to keep your mind awake when this happens. (If it happens. It doesn't happen for everyone.)
HI- Hypnotic imagery, the beginnings of your mid putting together a dream... basically it starts off as colors and patterns but soon comes together to male a dream, where you have to jump in (again, doesn't happen for everyone.)
I've experienced SP before, it feels like you're being haunted. I love it :D. Probably the closest I've ever got to WILDing.
I know it's almost impossible to WILD if you just lay there and wait with full conscious, usualy how wild happens is someone will keep countng or something and start loosing conscious (very common with counting, hence why people "count sheep" to get to sleep) then what happens is they loose conscious or at least awarness about where they are or what there doing, usualy their mind is clear then they regain conscious without ever knowing they lost it in an intirly diffrent conscious state in which it's easy to use tactile sensations or whatever to get in a dream.
I can't be sure this is how it goes, but with me it's always gone this way, sometimes it's very convincing that I never loss conscious but I always feel as if right before entering the dream that I suddenly became aware of my surroundings,. like I gained awarness maybe thats natural though gaining some amount of awarness before transition, if I weren't so bothered by the fact that the wild might be fake, I probably would have missed it.
