I've been practising Wilding for a while now, not necessarily in a WBTB format but when initially going to sleep, just to practise reaching sleep paralysis and vibrations.
I've found out that I can voluntarily paralyse parts of my body, just five minutes after lying down, by just tensing the muscles in that region. Is this normal?
Oh, and has anyone stayed aware, essentially Wilding, from going to sleep to the first REM period. I tried it and nearly made it the other day, as I heard that REM latency (the amount of time to the first REM period from going to sleep) can be as short as an hour and a half.
