      issues gaining lucidity

      i joined this website 2 days ago, i have been thinking literally nonstop about all the possibilities of lucid sleeping, read all of the tutorials, and browsed through many of the forums. I still have not obtained lucidity yet, i was hoping that members who have attained lucidity could post the specifics to help me and other newbies, if you could tell us the thoughts that are going through your head, what you are listening to, and what it feels like to be in a lucid dream, thanks im sure your information will help

      Hey, only 2 days? Just give yourself time! If you think about LDing all the time, it's BOUND to transfer to your subconscious, which will give you some sort of dreamsign that will allow you to become lucid. But it won't always happen right away.

      Err.. thats commendable, but I assume you're actually USING the techniques, right?
      Depending on the technique, it will take a little time and/or practice.
      Some people get lucky in the matter of 2 days, but they are the exception, I promise

      Dude, I'm still not very good after about a month. It takes time, until then, it might be an idea to try my new technique, at least it will give you a dreamsign.

      It certainly takes some time.

      So far try to accomodate these things in ur everyday life:

      -Try to do RCs every time something feels weird

      -Do a RC on every awakening, especially after a (lucid) dream.

      -Generally be more aware.

      They're all over this site. Best advice I'd give is to get involved. Pay attention. Don't give up. And pay attention! There's a lot of people here with a lot of knowledge that couldn't be summed up in one post. Good luck and welcome to Dreamviews!

      Two days is giving yourself WAY too little time. I didn't have a real lucid until months after I found out about it!

      Remember don't rush it, work on recall, make sure you've got that down perfect first.

      Big Breakthrough!! i just attained lucidity a few days ago im gonna post another message talkin about it it was soooooo awesome! anyone out there who has any doubts about being able to become lucid just know that it is worth it!
