Hi, i've been on dream views for a sufficient amount of time now. I have pretty much read through every tutorial and checked many of the helpful tips other people on this site have given and i can say that i have understood pretty much all of it.
Here is where i am stuck. I have very good dream recall and have tried to LD for quite some time, but i just can't. I'm not sure if it's time i need or a mentor but i don't know to go from here. Please give me some advice.
I think it's just time — I'm at the same stage too: my dream recall has really kicked up, but I haven't had a real lucid dream ever since the semi-lucid one I had about a month ago.
Just keep doing those reality checks, and EVENTUALLY (if worse comes to worse) you will just randomly do one in your dreams. Always stay positive each night, as if you know it's the night you're going to LD. Just keep it up, and you should have results — hopefully sooner than later. Unfortunately we can't put a timer on it!
Sounds like you guys are really close. I'd stick with what Lucretius said and keep up on your reality checks maybe even make an effort to do more a day. What I think hurts your chances the worst is by saying you "can't". Expectation plays a very vital role in all of this. On a side note something that works for a lot of people is not trying for a little while, sometimes this will help you have your first lucid dream. Good Luck
Hey guys I just had my first lucid dream 2 nights ago. What I did was I took a little break from trying to lucid dream, which is some advice I got from someone else. I think if you take a more eased approach at it might help. However, try a bunch of different stuff keep your mind guessing. You're sure to have one sooner or later just don't give up on it. I guess i probably should take a break. I've been a little to obsessive over this whole thing since pretty much the day i joined.
I also had my first lucid dream during a break:)
