WILD, an often discussed topic, so I'll add my piece here:
What I'm interested in is: what happens when you WILD?

When I WILD after I had some sleep, then I feel that my concentration somehow
is vanishes for a short period of time, while I still "want" to stay conscious,
then the dream starts to fade in, and afterwards my awareness comes back.
This has been quite a fast process for the few times it worked, and often I cannot
remember what was before I tried to WILD. It's like I just "caught" a moment in which
I was partly awake but already on my way into the next dream, where I then hold on to
my lucidity.

Then sometimes I try to WILD right when going to bed in the evening.
Well, guess what, the whole process takes an awful lot of time... what a surprise, eh?
So what I do is first: I lie down straight on my back, because I know I cannot actually
fall asleep in this position, then I either do some concentration exercise, or since
I know I won't fall asleep, I sometimes let myself go.
Once my awareness fades away time seems to go quite fast, and then I "wake up" again.
At this point, my body then starts feeling numb. I slowly lose the feeling of all my
body parts except my face, (and btw. I cannot keep my eyes shut without actively doing
so... for whatever reason).
So then there I am, my body offline and my mind fully alert, too alert. The way I hear
changes, I hear those "tinitus" sounds much louder. But I'm not tired or anything, I'm
totally concentrated and cannot actually fall asleep.
And my body is NOT paralized at that moment. However, sometimes when I try to "drift off"
in my mind, I eventually hear or see some weird scene, but by the time I realize that
I "wake up", like when waking up from a trance. Sometimes I remember making a move in
such a "drift-off", actively, my body would stay put though. So I guess sleep paralysis
is my mind disconnecting from the body when entering a dream.

Anyway, when I try to "relax", to wait for such a dream scene again, I eventually end up
waking up the next day, probably remembering a few non-lucid dreams...

So my question: how close am I when I'm in this state?

Oh and:
I usually have to move into a position that lets me sleep though, and what I notice then
is that it's extremely hard to stay conscious afterwards. If I turn back to lie
on my back, I'm totally alert again...

When I try to hold on to my awareness though, then it just takes more time till I finally
wake up the next day :S

Wow... I never wrote such a long post in a forum ^^
I hope some of you are interested enough in reading that all xD
(when you read that and actually got to this line: thanks )

thx in advance for any advice/thoughts/whatsoever
