First of all I think you should try a WILD when you're tired and not "rested enough". To dream
you must sleep, to sleep you must fall asleep and to have a WILD you must be aware when
you fall asleep.
It's also very important what's going through your mind when you're attempting a WILD.
In fact, you shouldn't be thinking in words at all, like: "Why isn't anything happening?" "What am
I doing wrong?" and so on.
It's important that you're using a WILD technique that you feel very comfortable with,
using a technique that doesn't suit you could be problematic.
I've never had a WILD, as I'm practicing myself, but I actually know that thoughts kicks me
right out of it when I'm almost falling asleep. I've been close a few times by just letting
go of every thought I have and let the HI come along. Just recently I found myself watching
my cell phone in a very vivid HI and I thought "Hey, that's pretty interesting, I know that's not even
my real cell phone" and just that kicked me right out of it.
I really hope that you're looking at your WILD attempts in a positive manner and seeing
every little step closer as a success.
I hope I've managed to give you at least some advice you've not already heard of.
Best regards,
DreamerRoss
