A Strange intensity
Last night I woke up I guess after a REM cycle at around 2:30, I did the whole tell your subconscious to wake up after a REM cycle and it did at that point.
I didn't really expect to get much out of waking up at that time, because I had planned to try a WILD at around 5 or so
I thought I'd give it a shot regardless and when I did; after about 30 seconds HI started up, but they were strangely intense like patterns that if it makes any sense were almost blindingly bright, even though my eyes were closed in a dark room. It was actually too intense, like just in trying to "let them pass by" it made me feel like I was going cross eyed, just to try and stabilize this made me come back to normal and then I just rolled over and fell asleep until 5.
What went on there? Does that happen to anyone else, like imagery that is so intense that it's actual impossible to focus or relax. It was like trying to meditate with a halogen kaleidoscope shining in your eyes

Maybe it's this..
Maybe you were squinting your eyes to hard. When you do that a bright light like sensation takes over and can cause pain if your squnting to hard. So you might not have been lucid. Otherwise, i Dont no. Sorry mate :?

I know for a fact I wasn't lucid
it was weird...like I know if you squint that happens
but when this happened, I couldn't really help squinting
I don't think it really matters...I'll just see how it goes tonight
