WILD dry spell - getting frustrated.

So in the beginning when I first started doing the WILD techniques, I was able to catch on pretty quickly and was successful for the first couple weeks or so. Now, I'm going through a bit of a dry spell. I am able to induce sleep paralysis where I feel like I'm spinning, being flipped around, falling, floating etc (it varies for me) and I get the HI.

Then after awhile of this, the imagery fades away and the sensations just stop.. and I open my eyes and do an RC but I'm actually fully awake.

I used to have no problem transitioning to the dream state but now none of my old methods for doing so work. Anyone else have this problem and have a good way of fixing it?

Do you WILD when you're first going to sleep? Or do you WBTB? I've never had one, so I can't say I'm on a dry spell but I've always tried it when I'm just going to sleep with 0% success.

I am (used to be anyway) able to do them straight when going to sleep. I have been trying WBTB and during naps as well though and still no luck.

      Persistence

I have been trying to lucid dream off and on for 10 years and just now figured out a reliable method to do it when I want very consistently. If you are like me, just keep on trying and someday it might work out for you.
