how close am i?
well iv been meditating in my bed before going to sleep for about a month now, and when i meditate my hands and feet tingle a bit.i breath in and when i breathe out i imagine and feel all the tension comming out of my ankles, than my knees, waste, and so on. once my whole body is relaxed i wait a while 15-20 min or so than i get a cold chill and i get goose pumps all over my body, but i don't move. this has only happened to me 2 times. twice in 1 week. the first time it happened 2 times in a row and the second time it happened once. After the goose pumps were gone i waited about 5-10 min and nothing happened than i moved to another position and feel asleep in about 3 min. was i close to sp? ( i wasn't cold at all)

I'd say keep trying - sounds like you were on your way but from what I understand it takes a while to enter SP.
Bear in mind, I haven't been much further than you into conscious paralysis, so don't take my word as gospel.
I can recommend the saltcube.com Lucid Dreaming videos though - you can get the same information for free on this site if you look, but they present it well, and all in one place. If you know what you're doing, you can get them for free anyway... but we don't talk about that. I'm no saint when it comes to downloading but I did pay for these - they're an instant download, and they're very cheap, so it's worth it.
A good technique they recommend for deepening sleep paralysis:
When your body is falling asleep, your brain will send instructions to twitch a muscle (I think it's called a hypnic jerk) to see if you notice it. If you don't, it decides you're asleep. So one way to 'trick' your brain into thinking your body is asleep is to twitch your leg or your arm very slightly every few seconds, until you feel that limb getting heavier.
You can repeat this with the other limbs afterwards if you feel the need.
Basically, it sounds like all you need is patience... I need to work on that :)
