The Ultimate technique

Im the guy who created the popular technique a while back about visuliazing during a brief awakening etc.

Anyways Im working on a better technique that has been working back to back every night for the last couple of days. And I think that it will work for virtually EVERYONE on any night that you try it.

I'll try it one more night and if it works, I'll post it. Im really hyped about this new technique and I can say for sure that it works better than any technique ive ever used.

The great thing is that the method is extremely straight forward and extremely easy to do.It doesn't require any concentration or focusing, or visualizing or any type of thinking. Im really excited!

Ill give you a hint its a combination of two foods you probably have in your house right now

Second, Im going to write the whole technique tomorrow, not in pieces spread over days. So dont worry. But be excited!

I'll be excited, sure. But only when I read the tech and as long as its something more original then B6 + Tryptophan

Um... That flame was unfair in my sense. Even if the H8's technique appear to be some kind of "WILD reinvented", he own it. WILD is only the acronym used for all the way in the universe of getting ourself from the waking reality to a dream in a step-by-step fashion. If H8 feel like posting his technique, it is because he believe it will help. It is his own way of doing that, and it is really likely to help at least someone.
So post it! :D I'm waiting for too.

There are as many techniques than lucid dreamers on the earth, I believe. Cause you may start to do exactly what a technique says, but there's always a personnal way of doing things who kick in sooner or later. Because every person is different, then "the better way of do this" is different for everyone. Is that right?

I H8 REALITY ... any more news on this new tech, im looking forward too this :)

Actually, I think that the basis of most every variation of a tech is pretty much the same when you get to it's roots. The difference comes in when the person doing the tech tries to put it into a set of actions and/or a set of words. It would be quite interesting to see what would happen it people were to share techs at a conceptual level. So, when you write a new variation, the goal is to get closer to that root in a way that others will understand, with words or with exercises. Teaching with concepts would be a breeze.

This thread isn't really gonna go anywhere else so I guess going on a tangent here is okay.. XD

The best tech is and always will be the one you make for yourself by combining the winning elements of techs that you read about plus your own little spice on top. The end point for every tech is the same (conscious REM sleep) and so drawing distinct lines separating them would be silly. There are a few ways to get to conscious REM sleep and ALL OF THEM ARE 100&#37;. The problem is that you cannot just tell your body to go into REM sleep while conscious. You must work around and try to incubate that state of being. This creates the inconstancy we see.

The problem with any monkey see-monkey do tech is that it probably relies on some pre-built schemata in you head that most people don't necessarily have. The biggest of these being the translation of words to concepts and the mis-interpretation that usually occurs due to differing schemata.

Yes, you are correct. Critically speaking, the point is somewhere else. Techniques however try to get there. If you can look inside yourself and look at what works... you can find your own path to that same goal.

At least, thats my [current] theory on the matter.

this is what everyone should be interested in... do research yourself for yourself, no need to tell everyone what you understood, or found, or saw.

Techniques are necessary. They are the most important part for people who are not natural. You need some sort of guideline. Without some of the tuts on here I would have no clue how to WILD by forcing your body into a SP-like state.

The unfortunate thing about tuts is that they're often incomplete. To do a WILD by inducing SP while conscious, you first must first get to the SP state, then you must begin HI. After that, you must go from HI into the dream state.

If you manage those 3 things, it's 100&#37; chance you'll be in a lucid dream (provided you remained conscious)

The tuts provide tips and tricks on how to do each stage. The first two, have lots of tricks (Getting to SP - various relaxation methods, getting to HI - counting and stuff like that). But, as you get deeper, the tuts seem to describe less. How does one get from HI to the dream state while remaining conscious? That is where you must use personnel discovery to fill in the hole OR try to do a VILD-like interpretation. Either way, thats where you must fill in the gap for yourself.

i dont think theres one technique that works for everyone. rather, everyone needs to find a technique that works for them specificaly.

then you understand , experience something else... then you can use all techniques...but then you dont even use them...

I think this might actually cause problems. new people come here, and see techniques with supposed 100&#37; success rates, they try them with no success and get discouraged.
(not that its anyones responsibilty not to discouarge them)
just look at the threads from "noobs" to see how easily discouragemnt can come.

i was on vacation, didnt go on,a nd then when i finally do go onto DV, everyone hates malac and ppl are pissed. whatever happened w/ that?

What's wrong with that? Theres nothing wrong with criticism as long as it's constructive. In fact, the world could always use more constructive criticism. It's the way that people learn. If everyone were to just blindly congratulate each other on things that aren't quite right.. this would be a sad place indeed.

If this thread actually had a purpose other then raining attention down on the creator, I'd give it a thumbs up. If he were conducting a survey to help him gather data to improve the accuracy of his tech, I'd willfully participate. But as it stands now, there is no point other then for attention. That is why I criticized.

Plus, of course I've said positive things before. I'm just finding it rare to find something thats of that quality nowadays.

Your reply proves my point more precisely than i could have imagined. Your reasoning on constructive criticism is dead on. You are absolutely right, there is not a thing i can see wrong with well thought out, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Yours on the other hand does not seem to be thought over, nor constructive in any way. Only annoying and rude.

Now back to my main point, being the great, wise, higher being that you are you seem to think that everyone wants to hear your opinion.
My focus in that comment was to explain to you, that it's not your place to decide on the legitimacy of a threads purpose. Nor anything else for that matter. I for one enjoyed reading that he will be coming up with a new technique so that i will be looking for it rather than watch it slip by in the numerous topics that follow. Also, im quite sure by the way he constructed his message he was in no way crying for attention rather than just being social. As i researched while being on this forum, i found out, that nearly each technique is just an abstract generalisation of what creator of that technique learned in the past. You know whats interesting. People here dont usually ask about the background of the technique and blindly try the technique on their on making them mostly feel discouraged becouse of their unsuccesses. You can clearly imagine the results of this for dream skills development.

If I would write a perfect technique, i would start with description of myself in context of lucid dreaming and dreaming itself, then i would move into describing the dream abilities i had before even trying the technique itself. Then i would write most of my learning difficulties and then, and after then i would write the technique itself.

You think, its quite a lot? Well yes, but we are talking about technique which will be read at least hundread times and performed {if I am lucky :D} maybe at least hundreed times.

Now. Whats your point?
