I don't like doing this, but I need help
For the last week or so I haven't had to get up early so I've been attempting to WILD almost every night. I'd say I've attempted about ten times, not all of them were as hard core as I would have liked, but I could tell pretty quickly that it wasn't going to work that night and broke it off.
Here's what I do exactly: I go to sleep between 11 and 1, then I naturally wake up around 4. I do this by drinking a lot of water before bed. It goes without saying that I get up and go to the bathroom, I also (sometimes) take a B6 vitamin at that time, but something I do it before bed, and other times I don't take it.
Last night I also tried taking a sleeping pill to try and get to sleep faster and I remember having a wild ride with sleep paralysis once with one. I start (mentally) counting down from 99, when I reach zero I start going back up to 100.
Then I often stop because I'm not getting any imagery (I know I don't need to, but before sleep I almost always getting swirling lights.)
If I decide to keep going I do another countdown and then back to 100. I've done both slow / deep breathing like I would do for meditation as well as normal pace breathing. The counting is coinciding with each breath.
Itches come and go and my body feels numb, but I can't quite get into a WILD. What's blocking me? I know that I can do it (as you can see from my signature,) I've done it accidentally a few times. Lots of times laying there in bed trying to WILD acts like a WBTB and I have one anyway, but I want to be able to WILD properly.
My room is pitch black and noiseless and I'm comfortable. I've tried it on my back and on my side (the way that I usually sleep.)
